On 13 August 2026, Women Fund Tanzania Trust (WFT-T) convened a virtual grantee induction session, welcoming 41 selected grantee organisations into the 2026 project implementation year. The grantees comprises 30 Young Feminist Organisations (YFOs) and 11 Women’s Rights Organisations (WROs),
The session aimed to equip grantees with a shared understanding of the project’s objectives, expected results and key implementation requirements.
Discussions covered the project’s main goals, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), report writing, and the importance of documenting and disseminating project achievements, including what to document and how to share learning and impact effectively.
Grantees also received guidance on financial policies, grant agreements and other grant management procedures to support transparent, accountable and effective implementation.
The induction provided an important opportunity to align expectations, strengthen understanding of grant requirements and prepare participating organisations to implement their projects while documenting the change they contribute to in their communities.
Through this engagement, WFT-T reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening feminist organisations and supporting women and girls to lead transformative change in their communities.
